Your ROLE:
The position of Attorney Engagement Advocate is a key part of the Commercial Underwriting team at Alliance Legal Solutions. The Advocate serves as first point of contact for an attorney and acts as their advocate guiding them through application and underwriting process and ensuring the process is efficient and successful for the firm and for Alliance. There are components of business development, relationship management, deal management, and data analysis and assessment in this role. This role involves working directly with attorneys to educate them about law firm financing, guide the attorney through the application process, acquire necessary information, and assess and analyze application data to aid in the underwriting process.
Your Day to Day:
Identify qualified opportunities for funding and engage in outreach to develop relationships and educate attorneys about our law firm financing products
Assess application data and other reports and prepare memorandum for underwriting review
Participate in diligence process and at as liaison between underwriting and law firm to acquire additional information
Provide ongoing loan oversight and relationship management post-funding addressing additional funding requests or restructure scenarios often working with legal, and accounting teams
Participate in collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to optimize performance so we can better serve an evolving client base
QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree
Experience in commercial lending (bank, mortgage, specialty)
Experience working for or with law firms
Experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with client relationship management systems or programs (Salesforce experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management, data entry and adherence to system processes
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multitask and manage priorities
The ability to adapt to and even contribute to evolving procedures that are often a part of continual improvement and growth
